Loved that particular walk! I was lucky enough to curate an exhibition at the 2007 Biennale and stayed in Venice several times, once for almost a month in May/June. And almost everyday we would make the walk from our apt, next to Accademia bridge, to the Arsenale or Giardini and back, taking different routes each time. So your route, from the Giardini to Campo Santa Margherita at this time of year, was Very familiar! Brought back so many memories of my times in Venice. Even caught a glimpse of the apt we rented! Thanks so much.
